[ The video feed flickers across a warm light, then pink hair comes into view before a face follows soon after. The movement is Lightning stepping away from where she had set up the device for record. She sits down in front of the camera feed on a predetermined placed chair and holds her hands to her knees. ]

I'm Lightning. I have been here for nearly a month, or as far as I understand. The brief experience in worlds of my own, and in others, may have inflicted with the timeline. [ She shrugs. She can't be sure of anything. ] Part of me still expects to wake up, or this is some sort of manifestation of yet another false reality.

I'm assured it's not. That this is the reality we all face together.

In any case. [ She lifts her head, her eyes narrow and her tone becomes dryer. ] My purpose here may be at the hands of these divine entities; but my destiny is my own.

I encourage others to live for themselves. First. It's all we can control. It's all we can do.

I ask for those who are willing, to introduce themselves to me and share with me their experiences, thus far.

Thank you.

[ Lightning stands up and moves to the device and the video feed quickly switches off. ]

They are very wise and once they understood that all I felt for them was affection, they did not question it further. (She won't mention that many of the Fëanorians are quite lonely and broken. She had been broken too and they had mended her; she can do the same for them with enough time. Maybe.)

Then, I am glad it has worked for you. I get the sense you've suffered a lot. Support can be all that keeps us from breaking. Sansa Stark. [ She swallows and nods once. ] I appreciate how much you have shared with me. Your story is sorrowful yet.. you've highlighted many parts of it which you have found joy. For what it is worth, I wish to find joy here myself.

Some have told me there are no guards, no governments.. that people are not all kind here. I have a sister here, I mean to protect her and I will protect you too. Should you need it.. and I am able.

I cannot promise you joy, Lightning, though I hope you find it, but I can promise you my friendship. You and your sister have a safe place to live - with myself and two other ladies - if you need it.

I'm glad to have met you, Sansa. I will consider the potential of a great bond between us.

Even if joy eludes us from time to time.. we have the capacity for it. My sister being here will remind me to acknowledge that much. Hope for joy and family will see us through some rough times. From what I hear, this place.. has a way of toying with us and denying us autonomy. y
