Hello, everyone! I wanted to remind you that the Sewing Shop is open and ready for business here on the North Island. I can make a wide variety of clothing or embellish that which you already have. You have only to ask.

The only price is that you have to obtain a bolt of fabric from Tranquility in exchange. All manners of fabric are welcome as are all colors.

What? Too proper for cursin'? [It prompts Girl into a fit of giggles.]

[she laughs as well] Perhaps! Grandmother always said that a particular tone of voice could show contempt just as well as a swear could.

Cursin' has nothin' to do with contempt. [It was as basic as verbs in her culture.] Everything is all in how you say it. You can totally tell someone to piss off as a compliment.

Really? I've never heard such a phrase used as a compliment before.

Depends on how you say it. And how well you know the person. And body language. Sometimes, if it's someone you really like, sayin' the real nasty shit is just sayin' how much you like 'em. I hear it all the time with my crew.

I suppose I'd have to experience it first-hand to really understand what you mean.
