(Drawn to the shore again, Sansa is perched on a rock with an open book in her lap - or, rather, an open journal in her lap. She is writing fluidly, recording her experiences and her thoughts. At any point, she could disappear and leave only the journal behind, she knows, thus there isn't anything too damning on the pages.)

I should begin writing songs again. (She pauses and smiles, glancing out over the sea.) There are days that I don't feel much like singing. I can't really explain why I feel that way. My situation here is far better than it ever was on Westeros.

(But...)

I feel as if my life is on hold. (She sets her pen aside and absently examines the ink on her fingers.) What do you value in life? What makes it worthwhile for you?

(Private to Lady Jeyne.)

Would you have dinner with me? I think we have much to discuss. My brother was...is...very dear to me. What happened to him changed my life forever. (Does Jeyne feel the same way? Sansa wants to know.)

I saw a small shark the other day. He was quite intent on getting a fish about that size.

(She feels all of those things walking beside him.)

No. He worked so hard for his meal and he really was tiny.

(She demonstrates the shark's size with her hands.)

{If Maedhros accomplishes little else, he'll be content to this.

Then he will grow. Perhaps he shall remember your kindness and protect you in the water.

(He is destined to be a guardian. If only he could take in more children that need fostering.)

I will not count on it. (She holds onto his hand, smiling.) You will think me strange, but I did cheer for him.

{All the babies! Maedhros thrives when he has someone to take care of and protect, especially if they are young.}

No. You needn't. {Because he will do all he can to always protect her, so she won't need water guardians. Though they wouldn't be dissuaded!}

You follow your heart. There is nothing strange or shameful about that.

(Should she ever be blessed with a marriage and children, she will gladly put her babies in his arms.)

I can rely on you, but I can also rely on myself. (He has taught her to be self-sufficient.)

You should look for the little ones. I'm not sure they are the same breed as the larger sharks. They remind me of dogs.
