(Drawn to the shore again, Sansa is perched on a rock with an open book in her lap - or, rather, an open journal in her lap. She is writing fluidly, recording her experiences and her thoughts. At any point, she could disappear and leave only the journal behind, she knows, thus there isn't anything too damning on the pages.)

I should begin writing songs again. (She pauses and smiles, glancing out over the sea.) There are days that I don't feel much like singing. I can't really explain why I feel that way. My situation here is far better than it ever was on Westeros.

(But...)

I feel as if my life is on hold. (She sets her pen aside and absently examines the ink on her fingers.) What do you value in life? What makes it worthwhile for you?

Would you have dinner with me? I think we have much to discuss. My brother was...is...very dear to me. What happened to him changed my life forever. (Does Jeyne feel the same way? Sansa wants to know.)

She is the sort of lady I imagined Robb might marry. (And that hurts as much as it brings her joy.) Jon? He was unsure of her - our memories about Robb's wife differ from her - but she doesn't seem to be lying. I think she must be from another...timeline? I'm not sure how to say it.

She is family. Robb would be angry if she were mistreated.

I hope to meet her then - I really should try and meet your family, my dear. I fear I am growing quite reticent in my old age!

I had hoped you felt that way. (She will only dote on him a lot.) When did you last eat?

[ He blinks a bit at the change in topic ]

Ah... today? [ He hazards - he's not entirely sure, with the sea so close. But probably today. Maedhros gets upset if he doesn't, and Curufin feeds him ]

Uncle, that is hardly a comforting answer. If you cannot remember, I will bring you something. (Because Maedhros made her eat earlier. It's a bad habit to forget nourishment, but she does when she is feeling sad.)

[ He shrugs apologetically ]

I don't count days well, little firebird. But it was probably today - Curvo is good at checking.

[ Not that he will refuse a meal! ]

When the sun rises and when the sun sets, that is a day. (She teases gently.) Are you on the shore too?

I don't always notice! [ He protest abashedly and nods ]

I am, yes. Near the house - I promise I did not wander too far.

We shall have to take turns being your alarm. (She picks herself up, slips her journal into a bag and sets off in search of food and him. Once she finds the former, he will have company.)

Have you tried a coconut before?

[ He smiles at her welcomingly when she finds him ]

No, I fear not. Have you found it to your liking?

He is a fine brother! (She sets her basket down and kisses his cheek in greeting.) The flavor is light; I expect it would be good in a number of dishes. I have brought you some shavings to try.

So he is. [ Maglor says fondly and eyes the basket curiously ]

What are you planning on using it with?

(She opens the top and pulls out a covered dish.)

I tried this... I'm not sure...

(Under the cover, she has mixed coconut - the juice and the meat - with cooked shrimp.)

[ he hums approvingly ]

Will you share it with me?

We are by the sea. (She grins and hands him a fork.) Of course. I also have a dessert for later.

[ he laughs and accepts the fork ]

Apparently she dislikes fish!

I think she has had overmuch of it in her lifetime. (She makes herself comfortable, setting the dish down between them.) Fish are hard to find in the snow, however.

She dislikes 'the grey stuff' [ Maglor informs her merrily ]

That much is true! We shall have to have a cookout, I think. And see how she enjoys it in different ways.

It doesn't stay grey if cooked! (Usually? She hopes. Grey doesn't sound appetizing.)

I can try new recipes if you are willing to test them?
