[There's a moment of Abigail crying.]

I was dead. Am I still dead, is that what this is?

[Being alone feels like hell to her.]

Someone killed your child?   I'm sorry.

[A murder is the first thought her mind goes to.  She hopes this isn't the parent of one of the girls her father killed, though it does seem like the kind of thing she'd expect in Hadriel.]

There's so much we can't control.  [Just do it, she tells herself.  Like scaling walls or digging up Nicholas Boyle.  Get it over with.  Get back to Will and Winston, let them comfort her and take the nightmares away.]   Yeah, I guess it's better than just waiting here.

Think I did?    [She looks at him sadly.  She's been through too much to deny it or justify it as she normally would.]  I did it.  You said it yourself.   He wouldn't have been able to kill me if I was innocent.

....Sometimes I wish he was dead. He's not. Although I'm not entirely sure there's a difference.

[It doesn't occur to Seel that she's going to death first, for a reason. He's too wrapped up in his own pain, and doesn't know her terribly well, to know the difference.]

[Personally Seel believed in doing, not waiting for things to get better. They'd get better if you did things yourself and prevailed.]

I don't know everything about Leo's abilities. Could belief of sin taint the soul? I'm not a philosopher. But I don't believe you capable.

You wished your son dead?   Why?   Did you think that would be loving him?

[Or maybe his son was in pain.  As she was. Or thought she was.] 

Or was he injured, sick?

[Of course he doesn't think she's capable.   None of the girls her father killed suspected she was a lure.  It's what made her so dangerous.  She decides if they make a run for it, maybe he won't ask about it anymore.]

[Luckily for Abigail, her questioning of his son is enough to put Seel off any topic of conversation. As ready as he is to talk about it with some people, some, he's just not quite ready for. Seel opened the door for her, and let her out first before walking after her with dignity. He refused to flail in the rain because it was a little wet. Flailing would not make him any dryer.]
