So, what's up guys??? How's it hanging?


My name's Ruby Rose! I just got here recently and I noticed that everyone's got really cool weapons???  I fight monsters with a scythe that I made myself. 

I have a bit of a favor to ask. Can you tell me what kind of fighting style you use? 

Do you beat up monsters with a stick?
Or make flames with a magic wand? 

Tell me please!! I'm dying to know!! TYVM!!

and yeah, i forged my own weapon with help from my uncle. He's really into this sort of thing.

They're nothing like a scythe, but they do well enough in a pinch.

[Tyki might fake humble from time to time, but he never really sells himself short.]

So it runs in the family, then? Anyone else talented when it comes to work in the smithery?

Right! As long as you can use it to defend yourself...it's fine!

Nope, just me and my uncle. My sister and mom are both fighters though so yeah. We can pull our weight around.

They do keep me out of trouble

[At least the physical confrontation sort of trouble.]

Sounds a tiny bit like my family. Our patriarch is an inventor of sorts, he makes weapons and things like that, and we all do our best to support him and pull our weight. [With no small amount of reluctance and failure, unfortunately.]

Formality is good for the courts and stuffy elders. I'm happy passing on those things myself. Life's too short to worry about titles and rules.

Weird is usually best avoided.

I try my best to not be stuffy. If you like casual you're in luck here. There's a distinct lack of formality.

There's a time for goofing off and a time for kicking butt.

Good to hear. I'm glad that there are set times for such things. It's no good to play about when there's monsters to take down.

What are those monsters like, by the way? I'm curious.
