[Rey wants her money back.

[Also she sounds like hell, and the only reason she isn't resorting to text is because she can't keep her hands still long enough to manage the letters. Her voice, similarly, is strained and shaky, but that's why she isn't using the video function. Her face looks much worse.]

"Secondly, it appears that the dam is active. We now have hydroelectricity to help power the city. That's one less thing for Hope to bitch about, so don't break it.

"It's still going to need upkeep from time to time, though. Going to handle that personally, but am going to need some help with that right now." [Pause.] "Please."

You sound like shit, Rey. [ It's a little forward, and a little worried, but she moves easily to her next words. ] Anything you need, I'm willing to do.

[Gee, thanks, Sharon. You're such a pal. Rey can at least appreciate a little forwardness.]

Feel like shit, too. [She coughs. It's a hard knock life, being beaten up, stabbed, and impaled.] No worries, though. Will be fine. Have survived worse than this.

Yeah, I think I'm going to worry until you sound at least half as better as you do now. [ a beat, and then: ] What happened?

Had a rough few weeks home. [There's an attempt at breaking her usual monotone to sound a little good natured, so not to concern Sharon further. It's probably pointless.] May or may not be scrapped for parts, soon.

[Yeah, it's pointless.]

[ Good, this is... god, in some ways. They're learning, gaining experiences that not many of them have had before. ]

Do you remember anything strange happening just before you left here? And... what was it like when you returned? Was it the same as when we arrive, in the coliseum?

Can't tell you much, sorry to say. Don't remember leaving, and doubt anyone would be able to confirm when that happened, living alone and all.

Woke up in the Colosseum, though. Same as the day of arrival.

[Sigh.] Long story short, might've infiltrated a prison, which entertained the warden after staging a jailbreak and killing off some of her staff.

[ it takes axton a moment to absorb all of that, but he gives a sort of thoughtful grunt when he does. ]

Sounds like a hell of a time, at least.

Already working on seeing a doctor. Am more organic than synthetic, so can bleed just like you. [Especially after being impaled.]

Wish it was possible to say that it was fun, but it was the very opposite of fun.

[She's almost glad to be back.]

So, you're going to be all right? This doctor will be able to patch you up?

Don't know. Probably. [None of her synthetic parts seem to be damaged, anyway, which is good.] But if it'll get people to shut up about needing to see a doctor, don't have much of a choice in the matter.

[Huff.]

That's all right. I've yet to hear of someone who's gone and come back with memories of it.

There's a certain pattern to it, then. I think more and more that it really is out of their control.
