That matter of whether or not Caedra is a human being is kind of irrelevant. If she is human, she's a sociopath -- and sociopaths are notoriously hard to reason with. If she's not human at all, then her demonic sense of self is going to prevent her from making any permanent agreement with the rest of us.
I don't know the long-term solution to this problem, but I do think that discussion on that topic needs to continue -- on the off-chance that there is a solution. The only hopeful note I can think of is that she wants to go home more than she wants anything else. I think I can verify that, because I've spoken with her an number of times. [ Not that these encounters were exactly friendly, but only one of them was violent, and that was deliberate, with the goal of providing Rage with the energy to give a few people magical sails for the expedition. ]
However, I agree that we need a plan for the short term. She's going to be mad as hell when she unfreezes, and I suspect that whoever froze her will be only her first target. I hope that that person will make himself or herself known, because they're going to need some protection, unless they're fairly powerful.
