What's up, dudes! [ Dudettes included, of course. ] So if you remember, Julie asked a while ago about the orchard restoration efforts and I'm happy to announce that we're finally ready to get things rolling. After that storm, it looked a little dicey there for a bit but it didn't put us too far behind schedule.

If you wanna' offer your services, lemme' know or else I'll just see you there over on the east island. Everyone's welcome. We even got, like, professional soil analysis and everything so we can help tell y'all where to plant things so we get the best results we can. We aren't messing around this.

Starting with the orchard or just anywhere?

Yeah, right! We're pulling all the stops, dude. This means a lot to a lot of people. Myself included. I'm not gonna' half-ass it.

The orchard is probably the best place to start but there's other places - like the park - that need some effort too.

Anyone find a way to make fruit trees mature faster? Or are we all gonna be waiting ten years for some apples?

Though really anything is an improvement, it looks depressing out there with a bunch of stumps.

There are some folks with nature magic that are planning to help out.

[ I mean, like. She ain't about to judge but maybe diversify a little my dude. ]

Yeah, ocean planet hasn't been too kind to the nature of this place.

[ He may be malnourished but he definitely won't have scurvy. ]

Awesome, can't wait to have some greenery again. I'm from Montana, this place is like living in a gravel pit. I hate it.

I heard it used to be a cave though, so I suppose this is better. At least there's sky.

Yeah, it was a cave for... a long time, actually. And this place is still better than the desert planet.

There was a desert? Well that sounds awful.

Was it all the same? The weird spires and abandoned shops?

It was the fucking worst, dude.

But yeah. All that was pretty much the same.

Glad I came in after that when we at least had some trees and weren't roasting alive.

When someone said they moved the city, I wasn't expecting that they literally moved all the buildings and stuff too.

Yeah, the desert can suck it. I hate island planet too but at least it's not as bad.

The gods move everything, pretty much. Just pick us up and plop us to the next place now.

Other than the storm this place isn't all bad. Nice ocean view, overcast, decent weather. I don't get why we can't just stay here.

I can't swim, actually. Water freaks me out to an extreme, so-

Ocean planet sucks in my book. I hope we go somewhere there is only enough of it to survive.

Oh. Okay then, that would make this place pretty shitty.

Yeah I heard it was a bloodbath last time they showed up. But if they have the power to move the city couldn't they do something else? Like put a big bubble around it. Or teleport the null to the middle of the sun.

Something.

Yeah, you're telling me. But I've dealt with it best I can.

I dunno why they don't but figured since they didn't that they couldn't? For some reason? Who knows.

If it makes you feel better I get seasick even between islands, so it's not all sunshine and roses for me either.

Seems easier than moving the whole city all the time. But what do I know, I'm not the one moving it.

See, I was hoping it wouldn't be a double whammy of fear and nausea for me but- Surprise, it was.

I know it takes a lot of energy each time and that makes us easier to track. I honestly think it has something to do with how few of them there are? Like, the Null attacked them once before we all got here and they barely survived so running is probably the best we can do until we figure something else out.

Maybe that's why they want the Door. Bring more people in to feed off of and get stronger.

Yeah, probably. That's kind of the whole dealio from my understanding.

But it's worked. When I first got here, some of the gods weren't even revived yet - like Confusion and Tranquility - so... It might not be the best method but it's definitely shown results.

What happens when they're all revived? Do we get to go home?

I don't know. I would assume so, but-

I'm not too concerned about that. I wanna' stay here.

Maybe because I'm dead in two worlds over. Died in my homeworld, died in the world I was in before this one-

Kind of puts a damper on going back.

I guess.. that kinda makes sense then.

[He admits grudgingly because he wants to go back and he's hours from death when he got here. But to each their own.]

Yeah, it's... kind of a bummer.

Making the best of it though on the borrowed time I have here.
