[He is like a caged beast, moving restlessly indoors while the wind howls at his doors and windows. Anakin has never done well alone, but he's afraid to live with anyone.]

How can anyone stand this planet? [Gripping his mechno-hand into a tight fist, he breathes deeply, trying to calm the anger he feels almost constantly.] What needs to be done? I'm strong; I'm powerful - I can help.

[Anything is better than being stuck with his memories.]

I'm Anakin Skywalker, by the way, and I think I've been here before.

[He "thinks", huh? Scott doesn't know how this whole...thing works yet, but he finds that interesting. He'll hold off on asking about that for now, though.]

Hunting seems like a decent start. Can never have too much food or fur. Though uh, those big critters keeping close to the city look like a handful.

[Anakin has been put through the emotional wringer. The memories of his time before will return to him once he calms down, but that's difficult to do when you have fresh blood on your hands.]

I don't mind a handful and I have my lightsaber. [Not that he will risk it unless he is cornered.] How long have you been in Hadriel, Scott?

[The way he trails off is a clear indicator he has no idea what that is. Like the gun? Is it just an M-99 Saber only lighter?]

Oh, uh, I arrived around the tail end of last month. I think. Hard to tell.

[To help matters, he summons the weapon into his hand and ignites the blade. See? Lightsaber.]

This is a rough place to keep track of anything. I'm not even sure if it's day or night when the clouds are so heavy.

[Scott's eyes go a little wide and he can't help the small smile that spreads across his face when he sees the weapon.]

That is badass.

[And then he remembers the conversation and clears his throat.]

...Anyway, yeah. I'm not sure if there's ever been an attempt to keep track of days or anything but the whole switching planets thing doesn't really help with that.

[That earns a tiny smile.]

I always thought so.

[He can't imagine a better weapon for any Jedi or Sith, honestly, and there are so many possibilities in how they can be built and used.]

No kidding. No one is ever allowed to get too comfortable. It feels like we're being tested.

Huh, it does, doesn't it?

[He scratches at the side of his face, squinting a bit in obvious thought before he says anything.]

I know the moving has to do with the Null, but they certainly get a lot more out of it. What with the whole, [He makes a vague hand motion with his hand] feeding off our emotions thing.

[He's not really accusing yet, just thinking out loud. He doesn't know too much about anything yet to make any accusations. At least, that's the way he sees it.]

[He sees no fault in Scott's logic. If the gods feed on emotions, they must be giving them a feast each time they are moved to an entirely different environment.]

They're sort of like...parasites. The Null is dangerous - I think we can agree on that - but the gods aren't much better.

[So there's no one to rely on. That's not new for Anakin, but it is damn frustrating.]

Gotta admit, didn't exactly get a glowing impression of these guys when I first arrived. As much as I'd like to learn more before I made any real judgement it's not looking so...

[He pauses, having trouble putting what he wants to say into words.]

I mean, emotions? Those are, uh, really personal, you know? It's creepy.

You can say that again. [Creepy is putting it lightly. It's a perversion of the sort of relationship people should have with their gods.] I must be overfeeding them. I need to stop.

[So he will keep himself busy, hunting and/or making repairs. He extinguishes his lightsaber and clips it back to his belt.]

[Scott snorts a laugh.] Yeah, I'm pretty sure I'm engorging them.

[He'll openly admit he's a very emotional person, which is a huge reason why he can't stop thinking about this whole "feeding off emotions" thing. Ugh.]

Just try not to go too out of your way to not give them what they want. That can be just as dangerous, you know?

I have a bad habit of going too far. [He forces himself to sit, but his muscles are still so tense that he wonders if he will ever be comfortable again.] I should work on that.

[Or maybe it's too late.]

I've never really understood patience being a virtue.

I mean...I can't say I'm known for my patience either. Probably the opposite, in fact.

[He's only surprised he hasn't had one of his weird mental breakdowns yet. Maybe once everything finally sinks in. Mr. Don't go too out of your way to not give them what they want" hasn't exactly been in a rush to come to terms with everything yet.]

I swear they're doing this on purpose. "We can't control who the door brings in" [He uses an overly ridiculously mocking voice.] Pft. My ass.

Usually, those who leave either fully remember their time here or don't- I've never heard of someone coming back with distorted memories.

I spent a while during my previous stay looking for a way out. I'm sure there is one but it hasn't been found yet.

It's not that bad. [ says the woman who usually finds some way to complain about most things not being to her liking. ]

What makes you think you've been here before?

I'll need an explanation for that statement. [Of course his experience is weighed down by Mustafar. Life sucks.]

I have memories, but it's like they're distant.

A lot happened... I think it's too much for me to swallow all at once. [So his brain is being sluggish in order to protect him from going insane.]

Whether they're doing it on purpose or not, we're stuck. I've noticed...on the network...sometimes they send out messages. I'll question them the next time they do.

[Extensively. His training in interrogation will help, but, as always, Anakin tends to go too far with it.]

Which statement? Why it's not that bad? Well, no one's trying to actively murder me. I consider that a plus.

[ Cashmere's been in Hadriel for what feels like forever. a lot of people come and go. ] There was someone here with your name, before. I don't know if it was you you or a different you.

We stand it 'cause we have no other fucking choice. As for what can be done, how's your scavenging skills? We need shit for the Clinic.

There are worse planets to be stuck on. And we could always use more help on the Guard. You know, protecting people from stuff they need protecting against.

I believe you’ve done some work in metal before? You’re welcome to what’s available in Curufin’s forge, then, if you can find something to interest you there.

Otherwise, you might wish to look into taking up a craft or other pastime.

[ The fact that he's being kept here against his will, that he left so much unfinished business back in his own galaxy... Kylo is just as restless as his grandfather, though maybe not as close to boiling over.

How have you been here before? How do you know that? This planet isn't in our own galaxy.

[ Sure, Kylo is willing to help, wants to know what can be done, if anything, to get them off of this planet and back where they belong... But that can be addressed later. ]

[He won't deny that- his few hours back in his own galaxy hadn't exactly been the best.]

I plan to, Skywalker. I fully remember my time here, I am sure I can handle what happens.
