(Her eyes are red rimmed and she looks like she has been forgoing sleep. There is a bunch of bound paper, neatly tied with pieces of leather, before her and she is using a quill to write. Yet the tip on the writing utensil has broken and so she is having to make another, sharpening it with a small knife.)

If it isn't asking for too much, will you please tell me your best memories? You needn't go into detail; you can even change some details if you wish. All I want to hear are good stories; stories that end with happiness.

What is hockey? Is it some sort of game?

[She nodded, mimicking her expression. Her home life may've not been the roughest, but it wasn't easie either-except for those visits.]

Either one on one or split between two teams, usually played on ice, but it can also be played on grass, in which case it's called field hokey. Each player is given a stick, and the object of the game is using said sticks to move a puck into the goal net of the other team, while trying to prevent and block the team from getting the puck into your own respective goal.

Getting the puck into the teams net is what gets a point for the opposing team.

Those times in the cabin were the few times I felt part of an actual family.

(Her brothers and her sister would have been all over that game.)

Should I ever have sons, I hope I remember hockey. Winterfell has lakes covered in ice. Ponds too. If all else fails, we have wide open fields too.

(She doesn't want them to grow up too fast. Not like she and her siblings were forced to do.)

Your daughters could be included too. Field hokey is actually considered a girls' sport, because running with a puck on grass is safer than going on ice, and the friction from the grass means the puck is less likely to fly up and hit someone. [Call it from her own experience, but if Sansa was fortunate enough to have a family and children, she didn't want any to feel left out.]

Only if it intrigues them. It isn't very common for a lady to participate in rough sports. (Her aunt and sister defy that image and Sansa won't stand in their way - or the way of her daughters.)

I can't say it doesn't sound fun. Good natured competition is something I miss.

Not common doesn't mean it never happens, but of course this is only if they're interested in the first place. The whole point of sports is that they're meant to be fun.

[Even she knew that kids should be allowed to enjoy themselves. If that came in the form of cross stitching or hockey, so long as they were having fun it didn't matter.]

If you teach me, perhaps I can take the information back to them if...when...they are born. (That is if she survives Winter and finds a man who doesn't make her scared or nauseous.)

If we could find some appropriate gear for it. [She has nothing against teaching, but sports were always better to show rather than explain.] Hockey sticks are in the shape of an 'L', so if you see any, let me know and we can arrange a time.

I will look for one already made or I can make a request for one to be built. I believe Lord Fingon could manage it if he is not otherwise occupied.

If you can and he's able, ask him to make two...or three. It's been awhile since I've played.

[There's a moments hesitation when she comes with the idea.] There's a woman here who shares your family name, Lyanna Stark. Are you on good terms with her?
