(Her eyes are red rimmed and she looks like she has been forgoing sleep. There is a bunch of bound paper, neatly tied with pieces of leather, before her and she is using a quill to write. Yet the tip on the writing utensil has broken and so she is having to make another, sharpening it with a small knife.)

If it isn't asking for too much, will you please tell me your best memories? You needn't go into detail; you can even change some details if you wish. All I want to hear are good stories; stories that end with happiness.

Not a Warg. A dhampir. Son of a vampire, with all the abilities that come with it.

I learned later he had no idea if I could do it or not. Literally, if I had the physical ability. But he acted as though he knew, and so I in turn fully believed him.

...ah I... (She feels a little faint from shock and so it takes her a moment to reorganize her thoughts.) Do you partake of blood, then?

He sounds like a good father. You need faith in yourself to do anything properly.

Animal blood, yes.

[And human blood, preferably, but he can see her discomfort. Though there's a slight pause as she goes on.]

. . . he had his moments. And certainly he was a good influence as I grew.

The animals are scarce. Are you...hungry? (It's hard enough on regular humans who have a varied diet.)

My father was good too. I treated him poorly and I will always regret my words.
