This might be a long shot, but are there any mechanical parts around? Preferably ones that aren't frozen solid or rusting. I can't be picky, though, can I.

[He will take broken things too at this point.]

Also, does anyone have the ability to fly? I miss it. I didn't realize how much I relied on it until my freedom was revoked.

Again, I will settle for anything that can carry me faster than I can walk. I'll just pretend I'm flying or something.

[Right on time, Anakin arrives, bundled in a fur cloak over his Jedi robes.]

Open the door, Hux! It's freezing out here.

[Hux hurried to open the door, letting Anakin in.]

Come in, it's warmer inside.

[He had cleared up some space on the table and laid out what he had along with what tools he had.]

[He slips inside and gives a small shudder, pushing his cloak from his shoulders.]

Anything is warmer than that wind. [He rubs a hand against his cheeks, trying to get circulation back.] I'm used to extreme heat; not that.

I'm used to the cold of space but this is ridiculous.

[He moved towards the table, watching Anakin. The rest of the house was neat- he didn't let Kylo leave clutter around.]

The cold of space is level; it's the same unless you are close to a particularly strong star.

This shifts and it's wet.

[He rubs his hands together and sits down at the table, taking a look at what is laid out.]

[Hux had sketched a few ideas for a heater and other various things, measurements, in a prise manner. There was a list of what he needed or wanted. The parts on the table looked like parts of an engine, coils, and the such.]

Obviously, we're starting from the very basics here. It would be nice to have more precise tools.

We'll have to make them or work around them. [He quickly orders the parts before writing down possibilities for fuel. All of it is unlikely unless the gods intervene.] When it comes down to it, we might need any fuel we find for heat instead of transportation.

If we do that, we have to be absolutely certain that it will work.

[He hated the idea of wasting resources, no matter how basic they may be.]

Do you know someone who may be able to make tools that would be close to what we need?

Nothing is certain here. [He snorts and shakes his head.] We take a chance and see what comes of it.

I'm...not sure. I'll check around the Guard. That seems the most likely place to start asking.

Perhaps it's best not to tell them what this is for.

[Not that they were doing anything that would be considered 'bad' but Hux wasn't the kind of person who liked sharing projects with others he didn't approve of. ]

But if we are able to get some good tools, we mostly would need wiring and then some decent paneling.

[He is amused and he glances up from writing more notes.]

Wiring concerns me less than the paneling. I've never seen anything remotely like that in this place.

Naturally- I've found that you can get more work done without onlookers.

[He frowned at Anakin's comments, thinking.]

There is some salvage and there is a chance other residents may have something. We have to be resourceful.
