I’ve been here about two months. I asked similar questions when I first arrived, and I was told the average stay is a few months. One of the residents who has been here the longest said she has been kept here for a total of around two and a half years.

It’s maddeningly imprecise, and there seems to be no discernable pattern at all as to who is brought here and for how long.
