video
[He was gonna go somewhere a little more peaceful for this, maybe the outskirts of the park. But his energy levels are running low, even lower than usual with the stress of late, not that he'd ever admit it.
But he's not dead, not even hurt really. He's just tired. So what you get is one Steve Rogers, sitting in front of a pile of nondescript rubble. There's something just at the edge of the video, something he tried to push out of sight completely. But anyone who's every seen a little red wagon will recognize it for what it is, no matter how dirty and dull it appears.]
I know just about everyone's had a rough few days recently. I thought...maybe I could help. [Those words bring a lump to his throat. He wanted to help while it was all going on too, but in the end he wasn't able to do much.] I'm already out, so if there's anything that you need, I'll do my best to find it and get it to you.
[Steve's eyes lift and dart to the wagon, which he has a love-hate relationship with right now. It reminds him of when Bucky wanted him to do this sort of thing. Pride is always a bitter pill to swallow, and Steve's never really managed to choke it down. Come to think of it, maybe that's the lump in his throat.]
Of course, I'll be able to get it there faster if anyone knows how to put a wheel back on. I can live with the scratches and dents.

Yeah. I hope you weren't waiting too long. Can I take a look at it?
[So long as the axle's not totally broken, he can probably do something with it.]
action
[Steve gives him a bit of his smile as he gets to his feet, taking a deep breath in hopes that it'll help him feel a little more awake and human. He looks over the wagon.]
Be my guest. One of the others is a little tricky about turning too. I think it just needs a little oil.
action
[He says it with a bit of a smile, then goes to the wagon and kneels down. Definitely fixable. Adam shrugs his backpack off his shoulder and gets to work.]
I've got some oil, too. Where did you say you were heading to?
action
[Steve blinks and starts picking through the few cans already in the wagon.]
Is there anything you need? You could have it for payment.
action
[Truthfully, he doesn't really need them, but he understands the urge to repay someone for their help, and he can always use extra.]
I guess I don't really need a lot of stuff here.
action
[Steve looks pleased about it too, searching the few things in the wagon until he finds it and holds it out to him.]
There's also a bottle of antacids, if you've got an upset stomach.
action
[He takes the bandage, stashes it away in his backpack. Even if he doesn't need it, the clinic always needs more supplies.]
Hey, what's your name?
action
[One of his stops, once he gets the wagon rolling.]
I'm Steve. Steve Rogers. What's yours?
action
[He's carefully polite, if not the most friendly person in the world. And he's working - it doesn't look like it'll be so difficult to get the wheel back on. Just a couple more minutes.]
You make it through the last couple weeks all right?
action
[Steve swallows hard before looking off into the distance.]
I think that counts for around here.
action
[He adjusts the wheel, spinning it to see how it's working.]
