(This is asked late one night and it might seem frivolous with the current concerns hovering over the populace of Hadriel. Yet Sansa believes love is important no matter how long someone lives - or where they are imprisoned. Besides, she had a taste of love recently and it's a frightening - and exhilarating - change of scenery for her.)

Can it last?

...unless some monster comes out of the forest and devours them. (Way to darken the metaphor, Sansa.) I know love is difficult and it requires blood, sweat and tears. It wouldn't be worthwhile if you weren't willing to fight for it.

Monsters will sometimes devour the things you love, but you can always swoop in heroically and rescue them.

[ She's done it for the people she loves, and they've done the same for her. ]

You seem to know more about the subject than you let on.

No, not always. Sometimes they are too far away to rescue or you are held back from doing as you wish.

(Sansa wishes she could have been the hero. Just once.)

I know about the negative side.

That's true, too. Loss is a part of it, too. But that doesn't define it.

[ Chin up, Sansa. You've earned your happy ending. ]

I can speak a bit to this firsthand, if I'm honest. My husband was here in Hadriel years ago, now.

What is he like? (She can't help feeling the loss of her family defines quite a bit. But she knows she has to move on too.)

He... [ She sighs. It's difficult to define the person who means the world to you in simple terms. ] He's too serious, and he's very handsome, and he...cares, very much, for the people around him. He works too hard. He's a good leader, and a good listener. He can be-...stubborn, and he'll miss the forest for the tries, but he tries very, very hard to be the best that he can be.
