Have you ever been in love?

(This is asked late one night and it might seem frivolous with the current concerns hovering over the populace of Hadriel. Yet Sansa believes love is important no matter how long someone lives - or where they are imprisoned. Besides, she had a taste of love recently and it's a frightening - and exhilarating - change of scenery for her.)

Where is Winterfell?

In Westeros; my home. It is located in the North - thus the name.

In Westeros, the north is cold and it snows?
[in Ferelden, it's the opposite]

Precisely. Even in Summer, the air is chill.

That's so different from my home.
In Ferelden, the north borders the sea and the weather is mild and temperate.

There is a sea and I imagine the weather must be much the same beside it.

Have you sailed?

I've been sailing since I was old enough to stand upright. My mother was a notorious pirate during the days of the Orlesian occupation of Ferelden. She raided and sunk at least fifteen Orlesian ships.
