Hey. This is Yvry, not that that means shit to most of you. Anyway, a while back me and Deputy Pratt had this idea for an audio guide. More topics than just the newbie guide, but in short bursts.
Basically, something that'll keep you from having to read the entire network history, and isn't long and boring.
Anyway, here's that guide. It's mostly for new people, but I don't care who downloads it. If you've got any ideas for new topics, corrections, whatever else, I'm all ears.
Oh, and can we get one of you flying-types to go up and take a picture of the city from above? We need an accurate map, and go fuckin' figure, there's no satellites around here. Thanks.
[Attached is a set of files, neatly compiled and ready for listening.]

No offense taken. When I rewrote the guide, I made sure it was shorter than the last one we had. I get a lot of questions about what's not covered in it, but I'd rather people get through it and ask than not read it at all.

[More like "consistently frustrated and stressed with the circumstances," but "busy" works.]
Thanks for hopefully saving me some time.

[It's funny, in another world, they probably wouldn't get along very well, Nick being a detective trying to keep the peace. But he seems like an alright guy, and his Guard don't police the people of Hadriel, so they're good. And speaking of the Guard-]
Hey though, I was gonna add some sections about the organizations we've got in town. Tell me about your Guard. What all do you guys do?

It's not a perfect system, seeing how we're just as likely to be affected by the gods as anyone else, but we put our lives on the line and do what we can, just to make this place a little more livable.
[And if his tone says anything, he genuinely believes in that -- in wanting a better, more livable Hadriel, particularly for those who have nowhere else to go.]

So you're not like, cops or whatever. Just kind of like security guards or soldiers? Little bit of both?
[He can live with that, if it's the case.]

[Thanks, Sharon.]
There aren't laws to enforce here, and we wouldn't want it that way, but if we can keep some folks safe from either the creatures that come through the city or each other when the gods get all riled up, then that's good enough.

[Yeah, they're not so bad.]
Guess you guys aren't immune to the events, though. Is that ever a problem?
