Listen...to those I've hurt..to those injured after what happened. I got this from Hope, after helping to return some of the Hosts. [She pulled out a small, pink sphere.] This should heal anyone with serious injuries. I can go to you if you can't be moved, or head to the clinic if they'll let me.

[This comes out forced, as though one wrong word or slip of emotion would force her to become actually sick.] I'm sorry...I really am.

[She should've fought against it, should've tried atleast, but she hadn't.]

Nothing beyond general soreness and a few scrapes. [Climbing up walls and ledges would do that even to the most experienced climber.] I hadn't moved like that since before I was pregnant with Cassie and now my body's reminded of it.

[She tried not to think on that; the feelings of excitement and the hunt and yet she only managed to make herself feel sicker.]

What about you? Are you okay, do you need me to heal anything? I promise the feels from yesterday are gone.

What you really need is a hot soak. I'm sorry those are difficult to come by.

(There will be more than enough heat soon, unfortunately. Jungles aren't known for their ice.)

I'm fine. I suppose I have a talent for keeping myself quiet and out of the way.

A hot soak does sound wonderful [It seems more than she deserves at the moment, but she couldn't deny how nice it'd feel.]

You shouldn't have had to, but I'm glad you did.

[Jo didn't get hurt too badly, and she hadn't run into Sonya in the last week, but she's worried about how Sonya herself looks.]

Are you okay?

I spent several days hunting the same people I swore to protect [She can't pretend to be fine about it, so she doesn't see the point in trying.] I'm not okay about that.

[Jo wasn't on Rage's side, which she's almost grateful for, but she can still understand how bad it might feel.

She gives Sonya a sympathetic look before looking offscreen to think.]

I get that it doesn't help, but people know it was the gods.

Of course we know. And sometimes stupid shit happens in combat or even combat training, doesn't make it any easier to stomach.

I didn't even try to fight off the urge to kill anyone. [The last part is said more to herself than the screen, and what she feels the most guilt over.]

[Jo looks down, not sure if she should stay on the line for this or not. The few times she's talked to Sonya, the woman seemed good. That she's worried about this means that too.]

That doesn't mean you failed. I think.
