Um, hi everyone, am I- am I doing this right?

[Noah is still learning selfies and how to use the forward facing camera, so he's not exactly centered in the frame, but he's trying, cheek bruised and hair the very definition of bedhead.]

So, did - um. So I woke up okay, uh, and I found this?

[He holds up a book, Oh, The Places You'll Go! by one Dr Seuss.]

I didn't bring this with me. I - um, it's kinda funny, I haven't actually thought about it in... gosh, years? It was one of the books I had as a kid. I dunno, it never meant much before but reading it now...

[He pages through it, pausing at a few places and smiling a little before looking back up to the camera.]

Um, I'm pretty sure none of my friends had it either so... any ideas? Did someone lose a book? Uh, yeah. That's. That's it.

The book is like... really short.

[He holds it up on it's side, so Clear can see how thin it is.]

And there's only like a paragraph of words on each page, if that. It's made to be read by like eight year olds, so it isn't like you'll need days and days and days to read it.

[Pause]

Unless you're illiterate? Uh, that was kind of a jerk statement if you are, sorry...

[He waves a hand.]

No no! You do not have to apologize. I am very literate!

[He smiles]

May I come over now if it is not any inconvenience? I remember where you live since I guided Adam there before.

[Noah looks relieved. He figured Clear wouldn't get a super heavy novel if he wasn't literate, but it would be just Noah's luck to make a comment about it then whoops turns out Clear can't read at all.]

Yeah! Come on over, I'll wait!

[Because Clear doesn’t believe in the front door, he just...goes in through Noah's window. Yep. Even if it was locked, he just...opens it.

He gets in and sees the alcohol steeping in fruits.]

Are you planning a party?

[It was thankfully already unlocked and a little open, because Noah's room is on the second floor so there's nothing to worry about, right? WRONG, APPARENTLY.

He jumps when Clear speaks, whirling around to see him at the window. WTF.]

Uh? No - I. These aren't ready yet. They need to like... steep for at least two months.

... How'd you get up here?

[He smiles and nods. Just oh so casually like this is normal because it is normal for him.]

Oooh. I haven't had alcohol before. I just know how to cook with it.

[He looks around some more then back to the window.]

I was on the roof, then I went through the window!

[Pffft. No big deal, of course. ]

[Noah looks at Clear.

Noah looks at the window.

Noah looks up.

Noah looks back at Clear.

... okay.]

... I have some berry vodka I made with a friend a couple months ago still if you want to try a sip.

[Yep. Normal shit right here. Nothing out of the ordinary. of course he used the roof. Doesn't everyone?

He perks up a bit.]

I will try a sip if that is okay.

[He moves further into the room and stands there until he is directed further.]

I listened to the entire album that you gave to me. I enjoyed it quite a bit. I have even memorized a few songs so that I can sing them.

[Noah kind of gestures in the direction of the bed, a chair, whatever Clear wants.] Um, you can sit. You sing?

[He roots through the various containers until he finds the mason jar with the glittery writing on it. Months ago. With Rook.

He's sad again, small frown appearing on his face.

He just... really misses his friend.]

Here, just take a small sip. It's pretty strong, especially if you've never tried any before. Uh, exhale, then sip. Oh, here's some water too.

[Clear takes a seat onto the bed and folds his legs up indian style. He watches him as he digs around.]

I love to sing, yes. It is one of my favourite things to do. I was made for it.

[Literally.

He takes the mason jar, exhales through his mouth, then lifts the rim to his lips taking a small sip. He makes a slight face after swallowing.]

That is strong! Why do people drink something this strong? It is not bad, but I do not understand... Do they truly enjoy the taste?

Not really. [Noah smiles a bit, taking the jar back and passing over water before he takes a sip from the jar himself before sealing it up again.]

The berries and sugar make it a little better, but - ah, no one really drinks alcohol because it tastes good. S'what soda and juice are for.

I see! I know that cooking with it can bring out flavors, but if it does not taste very good on its own, then why do people drink it?

[He grips his own ankles and starts swaying idly.]

To get drunk.

[Like, obviously.]

The getting drunk part is fun. Well, I think it's fun. I always get sick afterward and hate that part but it doesn't stop me.

I have never been drunk before. I wonder what it is like! I do not even know if I am capable of becoming drunk.

[Because that's normal.]

If you're supposed to be human-like, you should be. Like... it's part of the human experience. The ability to. If you don't want to that's one thing, but like, being able to is important.

Unless you've got a weird alcohol allergy or something. Okay, um. scratch that whole thing.

If the person who made you wasn't a dick you should be able to get drunk.

If I would not be imposing, perhaps when your alcohols are ready, we can try it?

I may be able to become drunk since I can experience many human...uhm...sensations, so I do not think the alcohol would go to waste on me.

[Yes. Even that sensation.]

[Noah only took a sip of his berry vodka, and while he is a lightweight and warm that still wasn't enough to get him drunk. That being said, he's still gotta ask.]

... Can you have sex?

[He's a teenager. A teenager who got around when alive. He's gotta ask.]

Aaaaaaaaaah....

[Noah shrugs.]

It's suck if you couldn't. Sex is great.

[His experience with sex was very bittersweet, but he definitely enjoyed it in every way.

He hums softly to himself, reminiscing.]

Ah! Right! The reason I was here! We strayed away from the main reason. Hahaha! I have fun speaking with you, Noah.

[Noah laughed softly and breathlessly at that, a bit self-conscious from it.]

Right, sorry. I didn't mean to derail you.

[He makes a sort of gesture like 'go on'.]
