Um, hi everyone, am I- am I doing this right?

[Noah is still learning selfies and how to use the forward facing camera, so he's not exactly centered in the frame, but he's trying, cheek bruised and hair the very definition of bedhead.]

So, did - um. So I woke up okay, uh, and I found this?

[He holds up a book, Oh, The Places You'll Go! by one Dr Seuss.]

I didn't bring this with me. I - um, it's kinda funny, I haven't actually thought about it in... gosh, years? It was one of the books I had as a kid. I dunno, it never meant much before but reading it now...

[He pages through it, pausing at a few places and smiling a little before looking back up to the camera.]

Um, I'm pretty sure none of my friends had it either so... any ideas? Did someone lose a book? Uh, yeah. That's. That's it.

Oh, you don't have printing presses in your world, do you? They make it a lot easier to make books. Um. Like instead of writing everything by hand they just carve metal plates - the early ones did that I think? Or wood? - and coat them with ink and stamp a page out basically. A lot more work to make just one copy, but a lot less work to make like... a hundred.

I don't know how they make books. We might have prints. [ He thinks he's heard that thing about carving in wood before. ] But it that practical with drawings?

This was probably printed digitally, that's... a bit more advanced. I don't actually know how that works.

[He mainly only knows how the old style presses work because he has one left over in his room at the abandoned factory Gansey purchased and retrofitted into apartments. Noah doesn't sleep, he spent a lot of time staring at it.]

[ Digitally? ]

Oh, okay. I don't either.

[ He doesn't even need to say that, they don't print things digitally in his world. ]

[Yeah, Noah figured that was a little... beyond him.]

Anyway, the author has a lot of books and they're really popular, so even if they were pricy they'd keep making them.

I suppose that makes sense, if they sell.
