Here, I'll tell you what: you come get things for me instead of that idiot. Find things that make you afraid, scare your friends with them, I don't care. Then, you put them on my altar, and I'll give someone my blessing.

It's much better than Hope's. Just so you know.

It lets you have power over other people's fear. You can use it against them, make them see what they're afraid of.

I do not know much about what hope is offering. I am talking to you first because you cut deeper than swords.

[ She keeps her gaze hard and steady. ]

Can I use this against anyone? Including people who are not here?

[ She has a whole list of people she'd like to scare. ]

No. But you can cut people with it here. Anyone you want, anything that tries to hurt you.

I have no control over that. But it seems like many of you were brought here from similar worlds, so... it's not unrealistic to think that someone you want to hurt might come through the Door next time it fluctuates.
