It's not that he likes being in the temples, no matter which god_ess they belong to, but considering how things outside took a turn for the worse instead of for the better, he has decided on spending siren times inside - this time in Delight's temple. Which gave him time to waste.]

But unless you rip out that person's tongue, they will be able to speak to you again once they recover.

And even then they could write letters. And they will be very angry if you insulted them and then almost killed them so they might do everything so that bad things will happen to you.
