I'm taking Pup out for most of the day today--he could use more time outside the house and there's something I want to try with him. There's food in the icebox if you get hungry before I get back home. I'm thinking of stopping by the orchard and bringing back some fruit as well. It won't be anything familiar, but Maker willing it won't be too terrible.

Let me know if you need me back sooner than this evening.

Oh, for--really? I know for a fact I pushed the right buttons to only send that message to Cecily.

[ Sharon laughs lightly. ]

All I know is that it was sent to everyone, and it is making my day. All my love. [ She attempts to mimic the accent, and lowness of his voice, but it really just sounds... ridiculous. She just thinks they're really cute together, and he's a big ol' softie. ]

I'm glad someone's amused. [ because he really isn't. ]

Hey, it's just nice to see how adorable you are with her! [ a glimpse into their relationship when there's no one else around. she's glad he's good to her. ]

"Adorable" isn't a word that's usually ascribed to me.

[ he's not sure if he likes it. under other circumstances, he'd take it with grace, but somebody's a little put-out his relationship was broadcast for all to see. ]

I don't know, I'm fairly certain I've heard Cecily describe you as such before. And now after this, I totally get it. [ a beat, and then: ] You know, it could have been worse: you could have been sexting her.

[ there's a long, long pause. ]

Please tell me 'sexting' isn't what it sounds like.

Oh, it's exactly what it sounds like. No better way to show someone how much you love them than writing out exactly what you'd do to one another if you were together. [ that's a lot sarcastic, btw ]

Maker's breath... [ she can't see it, but cullen is rubbing at his temples as if to ward of a headache. ] And I thought perfumed letters were bad.

Perfumed letters are bad. [ The fact that sexts are bad does not negate the fact that perfuming up a love letter is ridiculous, and smelly. But Sharon's far from a romantic, so most things in that regard make her roll her eyes. ]

The worst of all is phone sex, though. [ In case he hadn't heard of that, either. ]

Are you sure? Because this sounds a lot like something Cecily would want to hear about. [ she sounds so incredibly amused, cullen. :3 ]
