Actually, is there a way to make it more portable? I'm not too worried about protecting where I live, since I don't have anything worth stealing and I'm hardly ever there anyway. But if I wind up fighting monsters again, I think it'd be more useful to have the magic with me. Something that makes me tougher or harder to hit.
