[ Enjoy the rather close and loud mewling from a cat, Hadriel. It's even rubbing against the phone and giving some lovely static as a result. There's a briefly, slightly muffled protest before it stops with a more distant mewl of protest this time. Kanda's got himself a cat, it looks like.
But that wasn't the point. Sigh, the cat got to the damn phone before he could even speak. Asshole. ]
Is there actually any decent food around here? Everything I come across is sweets. [ Yeah, yeah that's a disgusted tone he takes on at the mention of sweets. ] Besides heading into the caves.

I suppose that would hold true. Guess I'll have to check that out.

But god he hopes that he's just not fishing up awkward living gummies. ]
voice;
[who can pass up an opportunity to bully kanda, really.]
Also, switch to video. I wanna see the cat.
voice;
[ Yeah, the cat is totally meowing at being mentioned. ]
Too lazy, so no.

voice;
I, uh, think he's home! [People go home for sure when they disappear from Hadriel, right?] Sometimes, that Door thing the gods are always chattering about flips out and-- yeah. He's probably home.
[She's audibly less comfortable, so she adds, hastily:]
Just one second of cat. Three seconds. C'mon.
voice;
Haha, sucks for you, Lilith :D ] Oh, he went home? [ He might even sound a little disappointed at that. ]
Why are you so eager to see my cat? [ MEOW. ]
voice;
[Sort of. By her standards, Pandora's still sort of acceptable; danger or no, it's better than Hadriel.]
But back to cat. [Who hates feelings?? LILITH DOES.] You've never heard about the ECHOnet loving cats? Or whatever your version of it is? I don't need a reason to want to see something cute.
voice;
But the mention of an echo-whatever just confuses the fuck out of him. ] Echo what? [ YEAH HE'S JUST GONNA BE CONFUSED OVER HERE... ]

Want to meet by the stores?
audio
Sure, sounds good. Won't take too long.
audio -> action?
[ It takes a good fifteen minutes for her to make it to the shops, but when she does, it becomes clear why she's taken so long: resting on her shoulders are two long branches. Any leaves, and extra branches have been removed, leaving mostly straight rods to use for fishing. ]
Hey, I hope you don't mind, but I made a pitstop. [ She jiggles the branches for reference. This isn't really something she's used to doing, but there's nothing wrong with stepping outside one's comfort zone, especially in this place. ]
action! sorry for delay!
I don't mind at all. [ Especially when that's kind of what they were focusing on at the moment anyway. Fishing was both new to them, and they would be doing it from scratch. ] They look sturdy enough. Guess we need to look for wire next?
absolutely no worries!! :3
[ There are more than a handful of stores, and it's not like they're divided up by what they sell; most of them contain a flea market variety of things, so it'll be a bit like searching for a needle in a haystack of useless trinkets. She picks the store closest to them, and enters, holding the door open for him. ]
It'd be nice if the shops were consistent. [ Right in the front, a large cat statue, for no real rhyme or reason. It's hideously brightly colored and Sharon shakes her head as she looks away. ] Or brought in less useless shit.
<3
But he's following Sharon once it's clear she's made a decision, offering no thanks in return for her holding the door open. Well, no one said he had manners...
Though that cat statue does make him stop and stare. Really, Hadriel. Really. ] That's one thing you could call it. [ Yeah, moving on... ]
no subject
You see anything, yet? [ Maybe she should just put in a request to Hope: fishing poles, please, you gigantic dick. ]
no subject
He's just going to tug those frames away from that fuzzy green mess, thanks. ] Maybe, if you count wire from frames. [ He's just got to detach them to see if they can hold still. It was difficult to tell with them still attached. ]
voice;
[Lilith not everyone has the same tech you do.]
It connects everyone's devices across the settled planets. Reception is shitty where I am, but it's still functional enough for cat videos.

It can't hurt to check them. [ And she returns to pulling things apart, eventually letting out a sharp hah. ] I found fishing wire! [ She shoots her hand into the air, grasping a coil of thin, wispy wire. There isn't a lot there, but it's enough to get them started for sure. ]
All we need is something to make a hook out of. How are those wires looking?
Re: voice;
[ Oh my god Lilith it's common sense. Gawd. Though that cat is still meowing at being given attention. Well, it was, in any case.]
You're talking about a radio.
no subject
Right, back to the task at hand. He's examining the frames before he's moving to at least detach the glass and/or canvases from the frame itself. He's frowning then at the tight knot the wires have been tied into to keep them from falling apart. ] Going to have to cut them off first.
no subject
I got a knife if you need it?
no subject
He's looking over at Sharon as she approaches, cocking his head slightly in consideration. ] It'd be easier to handle than a sword. How sharp is it?
no subject
It'll do the job. [ It's less wieldy than using a sword. ]
no subject
Thanks. [ He'll just turn the knife over and press the blade against the wire, pushing against it and aiming it away from him. Okay he might have to try and saw at it a little but if he can get an indent in there he can likely wriggle the damn thing free. ]

Now show me the cat.
no subject
[ Meowww goes the cat in his lap. Brb sputtering a little at this ninja cat. ] Shit, don't do that! [ UGH. Whatever fine Liliyh you win again. Here, have a shot of the cat content in his lap while he's being a grump. ] Happy now?
