[ Enjoy the rather close and loud mewling from a cat, Hadriel. It's even rubbing against the phone and giving some lovely static as a result. There's a briefly, slightly muffled protest before it stops with a more distant mewl of protest this time. Kanda's got himself a cat, it looks like.

But that wasn't the point. Sigh, the cat got to the damn phone before he could even speak. Asshole. ]

Is there actually any decent food around here? Everything I come across is sweets. [ Yeah, yeah that's a disgusted tone he takes on at the mention of sweets. ] Besides heading into the caves.

[ Sharon peeks her head over the shelves that separate the store into aisles, catching a glimpse of Kanda's dark hair, and the myriad of frames around him. ]

It can't hurt to check them. [ And she returns to pulling things apart, eventually letting out a sharp hah. ] I found fishing wire! [ She shoots her hand into the air, grasping a coil of thin, wispy wire. There isn't a lot there, but it's enough to get them started for sure. ]

All we need is something to make a hook out of. How are those wires looking?

[ Kanda's at least pulling the frames out and laying them out on the display tables so he can get to them individually. He'll look up at the declaration of finding fishing wire. Sweet.

Right, back to the task at hand. He's examining the frames before he's moving to at least detach the glass and/or canvases from the frame itself. He's frowning then at the tight knot the wires have been tied into to keep them from falling apart. ] Going to have to cut them off first.

[ She makes her way through the aisles, and various piles of junk to Kanda, spinning the coil on her index finger. They are only a couple of steps away from fish, Kanda! Fish. ]

I got a knife if you need it?

[ Actual food. God. Even if it's just something as simple as roasted fish.

He's looking over at Sharon as she approaches, cocking his head slightly in consideration. ] It'd be easier to handle than a sword. How sharp is it?

[unitas]

[ She bends at the waist, pulling a kitchen blade from the side of her boot. She offers it, handle first. The edge has been recently sharpened. ]

It'll do the job. [ It's less wieldy than using a sword. ]

[beanstalk]

[ He's eyeing the blade he's being given for a moment before he's taking it. Yeah, it'll do the job, even if he has to put some elbow grease into it. It was better than a sword. ]

Thanks. [ He'll just turn the knife over and press the blade against the wire, pushing against it and aiming it away from him. Okay he might have to try and saw at it a little but if he can get an indent in there he can likely wriggle the damn thing free. ]
