[The angle of the video is strange--Cole's not too great with technology and to be honest, he's mostly been avoiding it. For the most part he just looks...confused. Everything was so dark here most of the time and while he can't complain about the brighter tone, he still isn't sure that he trusts it.]

Defeated darkness, driving and driven, but now it's bright and burning.

[Confusing. The entire world is confusing outside the Fade. And this place is even more so.

[It's bright outside, but wherever Carlisle is sitting is dark enough that he can't hardly be seen, even with the light from his screen.

(Spoiler: he's hiding in a closet. There's a bear out there somewhere looking to hug him, and he does not want that. He does not want that at all.]

The false gods can't make up their minds. That's what it is. Not helping.

They try. [Noah is quick to clarify that, gently as he can. Having been here from the start and owing his current body to Hope, Noah does feel the need to defend some of the gods. Also because he's got nothing good to go home to.] Some of them anyway? Delight and Hope at least, they do sincerely try. I think they just don't always know the best way so it... it comes out wrong, you know? But it's because they misunderstood, not because they were trying to hurt.

Havin' a real sun'd sure be nice. But the candy ain't bad.

[There's a cawing sound as a large black crow lands on the redhead's shoulder and he grins]

[He reaches up and scratches under the crow's chin. The crow's eyes close and he looks quite happy]

It is too bright.

[Damnably so to Ushahin's eyes. His left one can't handle any light whatsoever, which sends a shooting spike of pain through his skull anytime he goes outside. He would complain more, but there's also been candy and a wolf puppy, so he's dealing with it.]

At least it is finally less noisy.
