maybe. i don't like the whole premise of it. they say if we help bring them back one of them will know how to get us home. but it's an empty promise.

something that still exists
it is not as simple as they say

and they won't tell us. like keeping us in the dark is good for us. like we're children.

we are children to them
strangers' children
loud needy and ignorant
like many parents
too consumed with their own lives
they don't think the children deserve to know the complexity
of the truth

but they expect us to help anyway.
