the small favors and familiars they brought
do you miss it?
do you miss them?
the colors were brighter
the sounds were louder
and some trick of the mind forgot
we were in a cage
or didn't and just
observed the decorations on the bars

The ability for us all to go back and forward as we please. An interesting idea, but I doubt the gods would allow it to happen.

But if you see this place as a cage, then why do you wish for an ability to come back?
