[video - ask a gentern if zydrate is right for you.]
As backwards as this place is, at least you're not using coin. That kind of economy never made a lot of sense to me. You don't even really seem like you're bartering at all! That's more than a little strange.
[Or maybe he just thinks he deserves a lot, when he's this far away from his heart. Hmn. A possibility, to be sure.]
However, since that's the case, I really don't see what the point is in working for an organization like the clinic. Why would I want to go work for someone else when I've been doing just fine on my own for years? Where I'm from, I'm one of just two menders, and I've had plenty of practice.
[He never even completed his training, but shhh.]
Has anyone from your great clinic recreated half a brain before? I doubt it. I have. So feel free to stop by the better healer whenever you like. I'm usually around the library trying to find something that isn't garbage, if you've, I don't know, got your fingers chewed off, or something.

He's not completely familiar with the area either, but his adventure yesterday and the fact that he can get a better view from above help him a lot. He boredly knocks when he arrives, then double checks his gloves to make sure there are no thin spots or loose seams. If this guy's arm was so bad that he wanted to keep others from having to see it, there was probably going to be blood involved. Can't have that.
Man, texting must have been a bitch, haha. He finds that a little funnier than he probably should.]

Come in.
[Having only been here a little while, the apartment doesn’t have much in it. No personal touches or anything that would show that the place is even being lived. He’ll shut the door behind Warrick.]
I know I already said it, but I’m Curtis. [He almost forgets to stick out his good arm so he can shake his hand, but he catches it.] I don’t know where you wanna do this.

I'm fine wherever. [Yeah, he's kind of...ignoring the pleasantries. It doesn't make much sense for him to be focusing on shaking one hand instead of healing the other, in his opinion.] Sitting might be good. Last time I did this, it was a bird. It didn't seem to hurt it, but your arm's a lot bigger than that wing was.
[And healing was a little more taxing these days. Hard to say if that would affect it. Best not to share that tidbit.]
Only thing I really ask for is that the interview waits until we're done. Hard to concentrate when someone's jabbering away at you, you know?

You’ve only done this on a bird?
[It didn’t shake his confidence, but it did make him curious as to what exactly this guy’s done before.]
What interview? If you don’t want me askin’ questions, I won’t.
[He’s not the most talkative guy anyways. Also, if someone’s going to heal his arm, he’s really not going to be in any place to be bothering them after. Curtis slips his jacket off, extending his arm slowly; the fabric of his shirt is cut away and the end of his arm wrapped in gauze.]

[Curtis is offering a reprieve from his anger and boredom, after all. Magic was one of the few things he could still find interesting in the state he's in, so as long as he wasn't fishing for something else, he doesn't see why it couldn't be a possibility...after. Because that sure is an injury. It incites a low whistle from Warrick, seeing as he's a lot more irreverent than he normally is when he's far from his heart, and he leans in to inspect it closer.]
Believe it or not, Curtis, missing limbs aren't exactly common where I'm from. No one's come to me looking to regrow one before.
