Hey, everyone. Just uh, a quick announcement that the emergency alert app now works with the GPS. You'll have to redownload it, but all your settings and whatever should just carry over to the new version automatically.

[There's a file attached to the post to download, and Chris is quiet a moment before continuing.]

And just like, if anyone's curious, magic GPS is not the easiest thing even to work with. Also, those are totally not words I ever thought I'd say.

[But whatever. He goes a little more serious then, adding in a last comment--]

I um, hope everyone's doing okay after the event, too.

[And he gives a small wave goodbye, though he doesn't end the broadcast just yet. Instead, he switches on a filter.]

Hey um, I also updated the version of the program that you use for check-ins. Same deal as with the emergency app; it should just update all your settings and whatever automatically, but you'll have to redownload it.

[Hadriel's phones need an autoupdate feature.]

[He will make sure to put up a notice in headquarters directing everyone to this post. Henry almost leaves it there, but then changes his mind at the last second and adds:]

Um, it sort of depends. I mean, I can figure out a lot of things if I have enough time, but the more complicated and different from what I've already learned the more it takes to get it done, if that makes sense? So it's hard to say exactly.

[But he's hesitant to promise too much skill; he was still in school, after all, and the coding here is so different from what he was used to already.]

...I see. One should not be surprised that workings vary so much.

[Yet beyond obvious their obvious functions, all modern technology is a large amorphous question mark in his mind.]

Yeah, it's um... It depends on a lot of things. But I guess I'm three for three on getting programs to work so far, so that could be worse right?

[Even if he's not super confident, he really wants to be helpful here and this is pretty much the main way he can be.]

[Henry huffs a disbelieving laugh.]

Have confidence in that which you achieve. 'Tis the product of your talent, hard work and sacrificed time. Is what results not aught to be proud of?

W-Well, I guess, yeah, it's just... I dunno. I don't want to be overconfident.

[And then screw something up and let everyone down or something.]

That would require an excess of pride.

[Henry remarks dryly.]

[He smiles a bit, and it can probably be heard in his tone.]

Okay, that's true.

[He adds more seriously:]

Or else there will come a point at which others take your doubts for truth. Do not yourself an injustice.

[That's a really good point, and Chris is quiet a moment. Normally he doesn't mind being underestimated in this place--in fact it's really useful--but on this it might not be.]
