Well, I mean, okay, we kinda spent a good five years kind of like that but--[Newt waves a hand]--that was then, this is now. And even then it wasn't hate? Not entirely? I mean--??? [how do you describe those years in the Shatterdome? They weren't friends. Were they? They might've been. They were colleagues, technically, but that sounds too...impersonal for how closely they lived during those five years (and the two-ish years since.)
