Some things were found that belong but not to her.

[ Another move to loose leaf pages written in strange symbol-like cryptograms. Some of it has side-by-side translations in Mandarin, but not all of it. ]
These are strange. Like a joke told in the dark in the wrong language.
[ Next to that there is a sketchbook with a pencil on it. Some of the drawings are River's, but some are not.
There's also a pocket stop watch and something else, something flesh colored and curved and somewhat small but River covers the lense at that one. ]

[He ain't gonna confirm or deny whether or not it matters. She might've made up her mind there, but bottom line? It's hard for something to matter if it doesn't have mass or volume. And the author of those writings ain't had either of those things for quite some time. Ever, in fact.
The next thing she says is a little more intriguing. Also, uh, mildly concerning. Knife is pretty obvious a signifier, at least.]

[An evasive answer, mostly 'cause he's really not in the position to gauge what they're always like. They're certainly a very particular way with him, but he doubts they'd be Frisk's buddy - partner, he mentally corrects himself - if they were real stab-happy all the dang time.]

It was theirs, one in a series. She didn't watch it, the thing is too ancient.

[Disappointing. He and Chara might be on...semi-decent terms, but frankly he'll still take whatever information on them he can get. They're real clammed up about who and why they are they way they are.]
Didn't realize they'd had anything of theirs come through at all.
