[It's been a little while network, hello. Here's your resident licensed medical professional, looking fairly tidy still if a little shaggier than he's used to. A quiet clearing of his throat, and he begins.]
Ah, hello. This is Dr. Simon Tam, recently of the Hadriel clinic. I know we've had an...eventful past month or so, here in the city, which is why I'm making this broadcast. You all know, or should know, that the clinic staff is here to assist you as best we can with any injuries or illnesses you might face. However, it isn't always feasible for you to come to us, or for us to come to you. The situation may be too urgent, there may be dangers between here and there that can't be avoided. [Like zombies, or fire-breathing dragons.] This is largely part of why we'd like to start offering a rotating course of first aid and medical care courses again, as Doctor Banner has done previously. During these courses, myself, along with he and other trained clinic staff, will teach you the basics you need to survive, if the worst happens. Death may not be an entirely permanent situation here, but that's no reason to seek it out.
If you're interested, please come by the clinic tomorrow for our first course. Basic information, the importance of cleanliness, caring for minor scrapes and cuts, and how to assemble a small home first aid kit. I sincerely hope most of you won't need it.

[Clinic staff, and those who come by the clinic, may note a small note posted on the wall of the front room. Simon is spending a good portion of the day out there himself with one of his large medical journals, clearly still reading, cross-referencing, and planning. After all, it's not like they get much down time around here.]

Might know someone who can help with that last point.

[He'd been wondering. He does know several of the clinic staff do possess some kind of...non-traditional healing skill, but it's an awkward topic for him to broach.]
Do you think they'd be interested?

Her enhanced healing has slowed down considerably as of late. All of her has slowed down considerably as of late, it seems like. ]
Count me in, doc. 'Bout time I learned how to take care of myself.

[Wait, that didn't come out as intended.]
That is--we want everyone in the city to be able to survive, in case the clinic is unreachable or overflowing.
I don't want anyone to die if I could have done anything to prevent it.
[At least that last part sounds completely genuine?]

Who does want anyone to die? It's a real bummer, so. If I can help prevent people from dying, that's a little less angst. Right?
[ Or... something. It makes sense to her, anyway. ]

[why are people so??? helpful?? here??]

Yes, well. Hopefully someone takes us up on it. Otherwise it's just...words, I suppose.

You should probably have a class on monster bites, too - you know, which ones are infectious, which ones are just gross. That kind of thing.

You're right. I'll have to ask Maketh if the guard have a...a bestiary, for lack of a better word. Any information on which monsters do what. It wouldn't hurt to have a course aimed specifically at the things we could encounter here.

[She half-smiles, crossing her arms over her chest as she steps into the room.]
I can tell you for sure that wendigo bites aren't infectious, though. Just painful and gross. [And she adds, almost an afterthought:] My friend was bitten by one.

Magical healing? [Her excitement is short-lived, though it doesn't dim her smile much. She heads on in to look for him, and once she finds him, she says, a bit sheepish,] 'm afraid I can't really teach magic. Was born able to do what I can do, an' it can't be taught.
Buut... I can talk a little about what I can do? Let people know I can zip on over to 'em and heal them up if they need it?

[He's a little sheepish, a little embarrassed, but at least he's honest.]
no subject
Oh yeh! I can do that. [Faith beams.] I've not healed anyone who's not superhuman, but I'm glad to try on people here if they're interested. Want to know how my healing works?
[She hopes so, because she's going to tell you anyway.]
Whatever injuries a person has, I take 'em on meself. Then my regeneration heals me up. It's really tiring for me, but I recover quick.

i would like to learn but i don't think i can go to a class
[Too many people to be around. He's not up for that, either.]

If a group lesson doesn't work for you, I could work out one-on-one lessons.

i already know some basics, mostly to fix myself up, but i'd like to know more
no subject
I'm glad to hear. It's good to know the basics--more people don't than you'd think, only what they've learned from vidshows, which is usually all wrong--but this place is full of more complicated dangers. It's just better to be prepared, I suppose.
Are you okay with learning at the clinic, or would a more neutral location be better?
