Shit. All right. This is Inquisitor Trevelyan, and... long story short, there are these... tears, in the air, which must have just appeared, as I've not seen them in Hadriel yet. Thing is, they're from my world, and it's really not good to have them hanging around like this. I've gone to close one, but [ but when she did, a dozen more opened ] there's more than one out there. Dangerous things, dropping demons around, so stay away from it all until I've got them shut again.

[ Remember the exploding hand? That's the one that has both caused this problem and will (hopefully) fix it. The hand in question is shown briefly on screen, the sliver of green pulsing to match the rift behind her. ]

In case it wasn't painfully clear, demons are demonic and should be avoided. Killed, really, if you've the ability. Don't listen to them, don't... talk to them, don't make any stupid blighted deals. They're demons, not - nugs?

[ She does a double-take; off-screen, one such nug goes scurrying by. ]

Andraste's tits, has Thedas just gone and vomited all its things through the Door? [ Not good, not good at all. ] Right, avoid the demons, stay away from the rifts - that's it.

What the fuck can I do to help? Are demons easily stabbed and murdered, or am I going to have to get creative? [ Sharon's pulling on her big girl panties, putting down the alcohol, and just. Let's fuck up some demons, ok. ]

[ Cecily knows better than to tell Sharon to stay away from the fight, so - ]

Why? What will they say, Cecily? [ What makes talking with them so dangerous? They offer deals, but surely people won't fall for them, right? ]

They'll say anything if they think it'll get you to give over your body, for one. Best to avoid them completely.

[ What would it take to bait Sharon? She doesn't want to think about it. ]

I promise not to listen to them, Cecily. I know better than to make deals with demons, no matter what they might promise me. [ They may try to tempt her, they may even come close to succeeding, but sweet words and promises aren't enough to give up a body that she's had to fight to keep. ]

I just don't know about the rest of this city, though.

Neither do I. [ She sighs with relief at the affirmation from her friend, but the worry is still there, if only for the less-intelligent portions of their fair city. ] I know we won't be able to monitor them all, which is why my primary plan of action is to close the rifts as quickly as I can.

[ Even if she has to go into hibernation afterward in order to get all her energy back. ]

Is there any way I can help expedite the process? [ The quicker this is brought to an end, the better, obviously. With only Cecily capable of closing the rifts, Sharon's worried about her friend's physical and mental health. First Cullen leaves, and now this? Fuck. ]

If you want, we can meet and work together. I can't fight and close the rifts at the same time; I'm vulnerable while I try.

[ AKA: please help keep her from certain doom. ]

Well, I can't leave you to be vulnerable. [ So, obviously, she's going to come help. She'll watch her friend's back. ] Where do you want to meet?
