[ Kaz has left most of his old self behind, abandoned in the ashes of that helicopter crash. But some habits die hard, and given that he's wrapped up in his own blanket burrito with a fire started off-screen, he's reached a point where he's just plain bored.

So why not enjoy himself a little? He's not planning to actually cuddle, that would require leaving his apartment, but a conversation is harmless enough. ]

A pretty girl like you should be careful about making such a broad offer.

[ That's a little more forward than Miller would have expected, and he shifts up a little in his seat, his attention officially seized. ]

That's way too far.

[ Kaz shakes his head. If she'd been in the same apartment building as him, he might have actually considered it, but even then it would have come down to how many flights of stairs he'd have to climb.

He isn't lazy, exactly, but when something that comes easily to everyone else takes way more time and effort for him, it does act as a deterrent. ]

Still, talking to you takes my mind off the cold, at least. What's your name?
