[ Cashmere's curled up in her bed, wrapped in the blankets. her face has a little pink flush to her face gives away that she's a little chilly. ]

Given the weather, anybody want to cuddle?

[ She nods. ] He used to muss my hair and call me little sister.

[ She'll never hear that again.

Arya peers closely at the necklace. It's pretty, something Sansa would have liked. ]

Does it bring you luck?

[ she's not sure how to answer that, actually. ]

For a while. [ when things were good, they were very good. when things were bad, they were very bad. ] But it makes me feel like he isn't far. And that's good.

[ she still tries to believe that she'll see him again. she tries not to linger on those thoughts. ] What's your home like? Is it ever cold like this?

He can be in your head, too. When you want him to be.

[ She chews on her lip and snuggles deeper into the blanket. She's not sure how to answer this question, either. ]

Yes, but -- it's not my home anymore.

Mmhm. [ Arya's right - she won't feel distant from Gloss if she's mindful to keep him close. ]

This isn't your home either. [ she misunderstands, but she really doesn't want Arya to feel like this hellhole is the rest of their lives. ]

I know.

[ She says, sadly. Unlike Cash, Arya wants Hadriel to be her home. Winterfell is gone, and she couldn't live there anymore even if she wanted. There's scary gods and nasty monsters here, sure, and it's cold and she's mostly scavenging for food, but it's still an improvement from Westeros.

For some reason, she feels safer. She never got to 'cuddle' in Westeros, after all. ]

Are you going to go home, eventually?

There's nothing left for me there, even if i wanted to. [ even if by some miracle Cashmere is still alive there, she's without her brother. she doesn't imagine that the rest of her family fared much better. ]

I don't know where I'll go. I haven't thought about it.

You could stay here.

[ The "with me" is left on the edge of Arya's tongue, but based on her expression, it's fairly obvious. She wants to do this more often -- cuddling with the coolest person in the world, a lady who is at once beautiful and ferocious. A lady with power, who can do anything.

That's who Arya wants to be. ]

[ she smiles at Arya, and hugs her close. she's never had a sister, but is very fond of Arya and thinks that if she had a little sister, she'd want to her to like Arya. it's crossed her mind more than a few times that the girl would have been a real contender in the arena. Hadriel is an arena all of it's own, and Arya's handled it like she's prepared her whole life for it. ]

Maybe. Only if I have good company.

[ Arya isn't sure how to react at first. The last person to hug her like this is dead; everyone else who's grabbed her usually did it with their interests at heart, nothing more. She's stiff for a moment before remembering that she's safe, that she can probably trust Cash. Then she hugs back, tight and ferocious even in her affection. She does not want to let go. ]

I'm staying. Someone has to look out for Steve.

[ Steve, Arya has decided, is too nice to survive without help. ]

Yeah? I'd have some excellent company then. [ she's still not quite ready to accept that this might be it - that she might never see real sun again and this weird alien land could be the rest of her life.

but then she grins. ] That's true. He's a big guy so I have a feeling that when he gets into trouble, it's a lot of trouble.

[ The fact that Arya counts as excellent company makes her beam, and she snuggles back under the blanket, closer to Cashmere.

She giggles softly. ] Oh, yes. He's so nice, he'd likely try to help a monster and before long, he'd be completely surrounded.
