[His aura is palpable to even those not attuned to such. Before he is near enough to greet her, the air seems to tense and to darken. With age, Darth Vader will perfect this approach. For now, his power is wild, chaotic and on the verge of madness; not utilitarian control.]

Hey. [He flashes her a grin and motions at the second coffee cup.] For me?

[ The change in the atmosphere is almost impossible to ignore and she stiffens instinctively, her grip on her own mug a little tighter. She can tell it rolls off of him. This must be the Force teacher and when he flashes his grin, she mimics it, holding the warm mug out for him. He's powerful. ]

I'm not much of a morning person. Caffeine sometimes helps. [ She's not a morning person because nights are terrifying, too often tangled with nightmares to be of any use to her. ]

[He takes the mug with a small smirk of gratitude. Caffeine has its uses and he has become accustomed to it each morning. Hux likes his coffee and Anakin enjoys stealing some from the General - if only to see the sour expression he earns.]

It does. You'll need a clear head today. [Nightmares are more common than dreams for him too. Even his dreams are more like visions and they are not soothing.] Finish your coffee and then I'll give you a few tests.

[ It'd be great if he made her think so, if only because it would give her a chance to test the protection Fear's given her from mind-readers. The mention of meditation leaves a slightly amused expression on her face. ]

Calm myself and meditate? This is starting to sound like some yoga bullshit. [ A sip of her coffee and then a: ] No offense.

Yoga? [What even.] If your mind isn't calm, you won't be able to manipulate the Force as you wish. The results will be chaotic, violent. Do you want that?

That kind of sounds like my abilities already. [ Chaotic. Violent. But maybe a little meditation will lead to more control. She could use more control, if she's honest. She sighs. ]
