[Cole is holding one of the plants when the video comes on, and he looks a little confused. Having pulled one of them down, though, it doesn't make any more sense. It feels like it should be important, but he's not really sure why. When he finally speaks, he doesn't take his eyes off the plant in his hands.]

I don't know where they came from. [That's not surprising, really. He doesn't know a lot of things. They aren't hurting anyone as far as he can tell, though, so at least there's that?] Whose are they? Are they staying?

[A pause.]

I think I would like it if they did.

Oh, but I wouldn't step under them in the company of other people, they may compel you to do things you'd rather not.

Green plants usually need the sun to survive but I agree that a bit of green around the city can make things look a bit better.

They make people kiss each other.

He blinks in confusion for a few moments before he asks.]

Good question, actually, I have no idea. [If anything, she starts to suspect that those 'local deities' don't know what they're doing and enjoy messing with the residents's heads more than they want to admit.] Still, I don't like having things telling me how to feel about my friends so- my friendly suggestion is to be careful not to step under them with others to avoid sudden kissing. Unless that's what you want to begin with...

No. [He certainly does not want that. But he hasn't felt anything yet. Maybe it's different for spirits?]

I suppose you can at least make sure you're not stepping to close to someone who's standing under a mistletoe? Anyway, they're completely harmless, from what I've seen, if you're alone.
