[Just audio from Cal this time. Short, sweet, and to the point. He's not up to much else after the conversation he just had with Flick. But he has a question, and he needs an answer. At least he's trying.]

I won’t be coming home for the next few days. Ask Flick why. He needs me to not be there for a while. He probably needs you too.

Yep, total doll. [ She almost sounds disgusted. Or maybe that's just what an audible eyeroll sounds like. ]

So you've said. Is it really that surprising somehar knows how to be polite?

Why be polite when I can just be myself?

Why indeed. People seem to prefer it. I suppose deciding if they're worth it is half the fun.

Politeness is a little overrated in a place like this.

It does seem to hold people back, doesn't it?

That and it makes them incredibly passive aggressive. [ But that's just her experience with politeness. She's used to people using politeness as a guise for passive aggressive comments about her. ]
