Maybe we have been looking for the wrong kind of door.

The Colosseum could be a large fairy circle. It would explain why the Door is so capricious, yes?

It is a circle made by fairies to transfer something from one place to the other.

Or for other purposes. Fairies are not very bright but also not very predictable, yes? Sometimes their little heads make them do things that you didn't expect.

[gymnast]

Oh, that's really cool! Do fairies exist here? And would they have to exist in the place they pull something from? I'm pretty sure we don't have them back home.

[ Although she didn't know there were werewolves until fairly recently, so... ]

They come into your world to get you, so they don't have to live there.

And I have not seen any but the ones that came with me yet, but they are very good at hiding, yes?

[gymnast]

I would imagine so. That's what all the stories about them back home suggest, anyway.

[romanovs]

Maybe the stories exist because someone met a fairy in your world.

[gymnast]

Maybe! I've been realizing recently that anything's possible.

[romanovs]

"Anything"?

[A lot of things are not possible, in his opinion. Mostly, though, the limit is people's silliness.]

[gymnast]

Yeah. Werewolves, fairies, supposed gods from other dimensions/worlds pulling people to theirs...

[romanovs]

I haven't met any werewolves yet.

[Well, technically he has, repeatedly, met werecreatures, but he doesn't know that.]

[gymnast]

I'd be surprised if there weren't any here, but the ones I was talking about I actually met back home.

[romanovs]

How do you identify them?

[We've all been here too long to show a reaction of the "wtf I don't believe you" kind here.]

[gymnast]

Most of them revealed it, either intentionally or unintentionally. But there are signs we watch for that give us clues to who might be one. Like glowing eyes, or super strength/speed.

[romanovs]

What other signs are there?

[He'll note those down, though. It's always good to know what other people are, and how many of their kind are there.]

[gymnast]

Are you worried someone you know might be a werewolf?

[romanovs]

Nobody who is here right now.

[But he's met people in the past, and now he wonders.]

Do their eyes always glow?
