I saw that Fear said our air supply will be refreshed. I don't know if that's true - I don't know if we can trust him - but I thought people ought to know anyway.

Talking is a little less impersonal than text. It might help to hear a familiar voice, if any of your friends are buried. There also isn't much to do down here but panic, so if anyone wants to talk - I wouldn't mind.

Maybe, but I don't know any of them, and none of my friends could do that. So it's pretty impressive.

Not cars, but we have airplanes and helicopters, which fly. You have flying machines? I wouldn't have expected that.

I guess we technically didn't. The Rheairds belonged to the Renegades. Them and the Desians were the ones with all the magitech.

Uh, half-elves.

Oh. So you've got dwarves and elves and half-elves. I guess that makes sense.

[Well, if you just stepped out of a fantasy novel, anyway.]

And spirits. And angels. But I guess those were just Cruxis people so maybe not?

[it's something to consider. and maybe talk to someone like the professor or even colette about, since lloyd had never given angels much thought until he'd had to fight them.]

Where I'm from, we just have normal animals and humans.

I can't imagine what it would be like to live around such different beings.

It's pretty normal. [lloyd offers with only a faint shrug.]

Though I guess sometimes people still got scared and angry about people that were different, so maybe it wasn't that normal for everyone. [either way it clearly didn't bother lloyd.]

I guess if it's always been that way, it wouldn't be strange to you. And really, I think people will get scared and angry about anything that's different.

Yeah. [lloyd agrees with a soft sigh.] I don't really get it though. Seems like a pretty sad and lonely way to live to me.

[and the, because this is lloyd, the energy in his voice dips upward again pretty quickly.] No problem! I think it's pretty cool to learn about all the different things between worlds.

Yeah, I agree. Everyone seems to come from such different places.
