[There's no video, because it's too dark in the coffin to show anything anyway. Adam's voice is carefully steady, as if he's keeping himself under control through sheer power of will.]

I saw that Fear said our air supply will be refreshed. I don't know if that's true - I don't know if we can trust him - but I thought people ought to know anyway.

[Not that he necessarily believes anything any of the gods say, but - well. Who knows.]

Talking is a little less impersonal than text. It might help to hear a familiar voice, if any of your friends are buried. There also isn't much to do down here but panic, so if anyone wants to talk - I wouldn't mind.

I want you to. [His voice is tight, quiet.] But if it doesn't happen, I don't - I don't want you to blame yourselves.

... You'd blame yourself if you couldn't find us though.

[It means a lot to him, even if he doesn't know if it'll succeed, and even if he doesn't know how to express it.]

Well. Someone has to talk Ronan out of bad decisions. [That was an attempt at a joke, though it falls a little flat and weak - Noah knows it wasn't a terribly good attempt.]

[He can tell that Noah is trying, and he plays along as best he can.]

I am pretty sure you've done it at least, like, once? And that's one more than I've got.

Usually I just talk him into different bad decisions that are better planned out.

See? That's something. That's much less prone to things ending up lit on fire.

[Especially when it comes to Ronan. Adam is literally the only line of defense they have now.]

Are you able to stick around? You're not disappearing?

So far. Ronan was hoping I'd be able to ... sense you, if I was close by, but so far nothing. All I can tell is when someone is buried nearby, which... Hope's coordinates kind of already covered.

Still, that's helpful. You know he wasn't lying to us. And I'm sure Ronan can use the help - I don't want him to work himself to exhaustion.

[Not that he can stop it from happening, and not that he wants to die down here. But still.]

I'll be bringing him food and water. [That's about the best Noah can do, he'd bank on Ronan having both for Adam ready but forgetting to remember himself.]
