Hey, so, quick PSA or whatever.

[This post is really more out of necessity than anything else, and he's a little distracted while making it.]

Since I had the coffee cart with the rest of us at the library while the whole competition thing was going on, it still exists. But considering some dick blew up the bar, obviously we can't set it back up there like usual.

[He doesn't sound mad, but definitely not impressed with whoever had the grand bar plan.]

So, until further notice, coffee'll be at Delight's temple.

[Might as well do something to give her a bit of a boost, especially since the cart is only because of her in the first place.]

I'm afraid I'll have to skip out on coffee while it's there. [ Also, so not still salty team Tranquility won. ]

Thanks Em. I still have to pick out a reward, by the way; anything you can think of that's important? We're still considering combining to get something bigger, but I dunno exactly what.

[And if he, Em, and the twins can think of something more useful to ask for to have at their house, he'll do that. He does want a rifle, but he's not completely set on getting one.]

Yeah, happy coincidence I had it, I guess. Still sucks about the bar.

[Not that he really drinks, but he knows other people loved it and he feels back for Delight.]

Normally I'd say deal with it, but I guess I can always bring yours outside or something.

[Sharon gets special exemptions just because she's been so consistent about not wanting to support the gods.]

[Oh, right, that. Chris gives a small shrug; he used to be really concerned with that sort of thing in Hadriel, considering he knows what a lot of people are capable of and the fact that they don't all have a lot of restraint, but that's seriously worn off over time.]

Yeah, I guess so. But I mean, I'm sort of figuring no one's going to get so offended by generalized namecalling that they actually bother to do something about it.

[Don't freak out here, Chris, but she's going to be not an asshole here.]

though i mean, i wouldn't say no to more of that skin cream hope gave me, or a doggy bed for wolfie. if you want to get something bigger, maybe ask tranquility to rebuild the bar?

Pretty sure Rey uncovered it. Some building somebody converted into a bar before Delight moved in.

[At least, that's his general understanding of it. He's only been there a handful of times; it more or less seems to have been forgotten since Delight's place was just objectively nicer.

Though getting a bunch of stuff for Wolfie's a pretty good idea.

Well it did make me angry, so there's that. Of course, we still lost, so... [ Cashmere shrugs. whatever. hardly the first time she's had something nice and some idiot took it away. ]

I've got a few bottles stashed at my place, though!

[He to understands regretting a decision and so when Shadow says he knows it was a mistake he's ready to just let it go without any further lecturing, but that last comment--or more the tone--earns a slightly snappish response.]

What, are we in ninth grade? It was a dick move. Obviously you know it was or you wouldn't think it was a mistake.

Yeah, at least maybe it would've been worth it if you won?

[Still a jerk thing to do though.]

We've got a little at my place too, but it's not really... Good stuff for drinking.

[He'd been collecting some of the grossest stuff for making small molotov cocktails.]

Anything's good for drinking if you put your mind to it, Chris. You're not a quitter, are you?

Oh, yeah, I think I remember someone saying something about that.

[He'll have to check it out for curiosity's sake.]

But yeah, the cart's at Delight's to help her out, so it'll stay there for awhile.

[He laughs a little at that.]

I guess. But I dunno, I mean, yeah, I guess I am? I quit drinking like two years ago, so...

[So he's extra a quitter when it comes to this.]

Fair enough. Probably for the best no one goes advertising the old place anyway.

[Seeing as, y'know, the other one exploded.]

Really gonna do what?

[He might be being slightly oblivious on purpose, but he also doesn't want to misread the situation. But he's definitely edging toward annoyed in his voice, now.]
