2.2: Video | Side A
[For once Amos’s face is dead-set serious, with his usual friendly grin gone. His dark eyes are steady and his voice level and collected...but his New Orleans Yat accent is a little heavier and sharper, highlighting his distress despite his composure. The picture is staticky and a little grainy.]
Sorrow says the west half of the city is in more trouble, an’ we got Fear, Hope, Rage, an’ Delight with us.
That means the east half’s got Sorrow, Confusion, Love, an’ Tranquility with them. Dey also got the armory, the city guard HQ, an’ the clinic.
I need three things from all’a’ya’ll: a headcount for dis side, the west side, who got experience fighting, an’ who got any medical trainin’ or healin’ talents.
Also if there’s gonna be a fight, we better pick a central location to put folks as can’t fight, an’ any left-behind pets, better to protect ‘em. I vote one o’ de temples, Delight’s is middlemost.
I’m Amos, by the by, an’ I’ve got combat experience but only field first aid trainin’.

Rydia of Mist here, I have experience as offensive mage but I lack healing skills of sort.
We have one of the spiral buildings in our side... it could be wise to use them as decoy, maybe keeping lights up and all so enemies will eventally head that way. We also have houses, some temples and the library on this side? I don't know what's more defendible, to be honest...

[Amos nods.]
I think Delight's temple would be the most defensible place for our civvies, as Delight is here an' she can repair the buildin' if it gets damaged.

[She hums, thinking about the situation]
Still, we should have most of the peole ready, anyway, to stay in the mist and keep most of the residents either out in the caves or facing whatever monsterand generating fear.

So if we keep non-combatants safe, an' jess keep those who can fight out, I think we'll get dat balance.

I mean, hopefully no one will die but.. in case.
Sounds good to me.

Marshaling our resources is a smart strategy. I've studied human anatomy, but I only know fairly basic first aid. I wouldn't say I'm skilled or trained in combat, but I wouldn't want to catch me on the wrong side of a dark alley. I fought some of the zombies that we saw here a while back and managed to survive. I'm better with firearms, which are in regrettably short supply here. I've learned a few spells, but the only one I can think would be useful right now is for casting illumination.

I'm keeping the AK-47, since I know I can shoot it

I have a Beretta. Not many bullets, though, that's the real issue. If there's anyone else on this side of the city who knows how to use a gun, you might want to lend it to them instead.

it's worth asking
[If this wasn't a dire situation, then Amos would have been just as close-mouthed.]

video.
( That's... about all she has though. )

Dat's good. Every lil' bit counts in an emergency. Thank you.

No problem. We've gotta work together to get through this.
