[Miriam smiles a little for the camera, though she's tired and it doesn't have the same warmth that you might expect. She's hanging out in her new digs, one of the spire rooms. There are pillows everywhere and soft blankets and a large Rottweiler with his head in her lap.]

Uh, hey people. I was here before and then I wasn't, and now I'm here again. Weird, right?

Anyway, I just wanted to let people know that this dude is Barnaby. [She tilts the camera toward Barnaby. He grunts.] And he's my dude. So don't shoot him or you'll be really sorry. He won't be nice if you try anything.

[She smiles again.]

So, any of you with freaky voodoo powers? 'cause I could use some of that right 'bout now.

[She's so starry-eyed she completely forgets to switch to text like she usually does. Most people don't take to well to a lizard person, considering the city is usually under siege by nonhuman forces. But she's just really enamored by Barnaby.]

[Barnaby snorts, pressing his very wet nose against her hand.]

[Dogs are cute!!! If a little boisterous. But they always remind her of Undyne, so...]

I've only been here, uh, a couple months. Well, uhm, maybe it's c-closer to... 7, now? I think it was October here.

[She wasn't very present for those first couple months, anyway. Lots of hiding in the apartment.]

Figures. This place is pretty weird. Probably the weirdest I've ever been stuck in and I've been in the shit. Barnaby too. But he's all right. He's cool with Hadriel.

There's lotsa stuff for him to eat here!
