I dislocated my arm. [He doesn't mind her polite speech - it probably keeps her alive during her time.] It'll heal up now that it's back in place.

[Maketh nods. If it were someone else, she would suggest going to the clinic. There's a chance that wouldn't go over well, though. But we will need your help when we have a functional prototype.

[He'd go if he felt something was wrong. This isn't his first dislocation.]

[Maketh takes a breath and lets it out. All right. It's fine. She can do this.]

They were killed first. But I was responsible for them. I allowed their weakness. And I--tried to run. Foolish. Of course. But after Lord Vadar informed me I was to report to Governor Tarkin and account for myself, I knew. They wouldn't kill me quickly.

[She lifts her eyes.]

It was expected. It is the Imperial way. I was weak. I allowed weakness to thrive under my command. Someone had to be made an example of.

[His expression clearly communicates "and?". Everyone fails missions. Hell he has failed some! To die for such a thing...]

I'm not sure what happens to me. The suit doesn't make sense to me unless... [He really gets messed up.] Why am I so subservient too? I wouldn't kill someone over that right now.

[Unless they royally pissed him off.]

[She has suspicions, pieces drawn together from what Hux has told her, but nothing concrete. Nothing that can be checked.]

There should be the harshest of punishments for them.

[He has a feeling he metes out a lot of them.]

But failures... Maybe a demotion or a penalty, but not death.

Perhaps one day.
