Sans? Remember…rember…about the frog? The frog- The one that, um, that--[jesus, SansWhoIsn'tHereRightNow, can't you just follow his thinking on this?] --YOU KNOW THE FROG.

[Does Rosen think he’s actually talking to Sans? Was he maybe trying to call Sans? Its unclear and as he is going to proceed either way, we may never know.]

What the fudge does the frog do when its half, um, half fudging boiled, hm? Does it realize whats going to happen? Or is it stupid and f…fluffing blind until the bitter freighting end?

[Rosen’s mind is reaching for the word ‘fucking’ but keeps landing just off mark. Even in his drunken haze he’s sensing he’s not getting the word he’s looking for, and the annoyance of that can possibly be sensed in the increasing agitation in his voice. That, coupled with what distinctly sounds like a glass bottle, or several, rolling across a table or, in this case, a floor.]

Flick the frog.

[Closer, but no cigar. At least he got the F, a vowel, and the ‘ck’ in there. Points for trying? Rosen feels like he gets points for trying. For a few moments all that can be heard is Rosen half-singing ‘Jeremiah was a bullfrog’ under his breath before he goes very quiet]

Sans.

[Rosen’s voice is now serious. Contemplative.]

Can someone be the frog, the fr’pan, and the dick who has a frog and a frying pan all at the same time?

[It's not the first time that someone has commented on the way Chara talks and the words they use, but not so....directly.]

...I am used to speaking this way. Is that a problem?

No. s'not a problem. S'just different. maybe a little worrying cause people don't want kids t'know about things like 'hurt'. But s'not always the case, is it?

One cannot go through life without pain, or so someone said. And it is something difficult to avoid in a place like Hadriel.

[Rosen hums distantly. Luckily for you, Chara, Drunk!Rosen is more easily thrown off of a particularly stream of thought.]

Hmm. This cave....it sucks, doesn't it?

[Chara never thought there'd be a day where they were thankful for it.]

It does. You do meet interesting people at least.

[So Hadriel is a D at best, 2.5/10, or something like that.]

Some of them are better kinds of interesting than others.

Like Sans?

[Considering Rosen saw fit to try and send him a deep message about frogs, Chara can assume they're on somewhat friendly terms at least.]

[Rosen finds himself snorting with laughter]

He is...interesting, in his own way. Jokes aside.

[Because complaining about his horrible taste in jokes masks the actual issues between the two of them.]

The puns are fine in small doses. His other jokes on the other hand...not so much.

[They started it but Sans messed with their ability to bake things for a bit. Bad move.]

[His mind draws a blank for a minute.]

OH-- you mean his pranks?

Yes. If you wish to test your luck, I will not stop you. But I have warned you as well.

[A.K.A, if Rosen wants to make his own Poor Life Choices, go right ahead. It'll be a bad time either way.]

[Rosen bites his lip against an insistent thudding in his head, but he tries to fight past it]

Third time's the charm. But hopefully that doesn't happen.

You should drink some water and lie down. It will likely not get rid of your inevitable hangover, but it should lessen.

[Rosen snorts before whimpering softly]

God, I'm not looking forward t-to that. Though I guess I deserve it.

Consider it one of those valuable life lessons that many people seem to be ignoring at the moment. And that you should hide your phone from yourself if you attempt this again.

Then I will leave it in their capable feet, whoever they are. Try not to move from your current location if someone is looking for you and I hope you do not get sick.

[They actually don't know how to look after someone once they hit the 'so drunk they're physically ill' part so if someone is on the way, hopefully they do.]

[With a shuddering breath Rosen nods. He's going to have to admit defeat, the nausea and the headache are beating him]
