Has anyone else experienced death here? Have you had any side-effects?
Not sure if I'm supposed to be waiting for the punchline or not. Guess Hope wasn't yanking our chains about revival.

I'm guessing you haven't given your gift to the right person yet?
It's when you want to test an action you don't know the outcome to. I died to find out if I would be revived.

People.
Does your revival mean the experiment is over, or will you test again?

So you're on a revenge quest? Death should only be a means to an end, not something you take pleasure from.
I'll give it a couple days before I say I'm done. If I die again in the future, it won't be on purpose.

What is revenge, if not taking pleasure from the death of another?
Valar morghulis.

If killing those people would help others in the long run, then it doesn't need to be about revenge. You could just be doing a service.
Sorry, that's not a language I know.

The ones it would help are already dead. Those left alive have already bent the knee.
It's Old Valyrian. It means 'all men must die.'

Sounds like you've got a lot on your plate then.
I know a lot of languages, but Old Valyrian isn't something I've ever come across. But it's a good saying.

That is also a good saying, although I think it makes less sense than the saying of Old Valyria.
Do you have a lot on your plate, or have you spread out your duties among multiple plates?

English isn't very good at being a straight-forward language. Your Old Valyria probably has more in common with Russian.
Right now, my plate is huge and piled high.

That's one way to put it.
It's a pretty literal language. Harsh. Your Old Valryia saying 'all men must die' would be Vse lyudi dolzhny umeret or 'all people have to die.'

What would be the response? In Old Valyrian, one would respond with valar dohaeris, all men must serve.

There's no automatic response. But the translation would be: Vse lyudi budut sluzhit. All people will serve.

No, I've been all over the world for my job. Well, my world. I had to learn a few other languages to be able to speak with people.

That's why I had to learn Braavosi and High Valyrian.

I'm a soldier, but I don't serve in anyone's army. More of a mercenary, if you have those.

That's a decision you have to make. A snake can tell you it won't bite you, but do you believe it?
